MISSION STATEMENT
The Association of Comic Creators (AoCC) is dedicated to fostering a comics culture that supports and uplifts creators. We aim to achieve this by uplifting the comics industry as a whole.
OUR AIMS:
● To encourage transparency within the industry by sharing information on pay and working conditions
● To create a welcoming, nurturing space for new and aspiring creators, building on the strengths of our industry to encourage and support the future of comics
● To champion creators and comics, making this a viable profession for everyone, regardless of race, gender or sexuality
● To promote health and well-being by educating creators, employers and readers alike about healthy work habits and release schedules
● To provide a central point of contact for comics professionals and non-professionals alike, with strength in numbers driving our ability to effect change
